Players left their benches, but no fouls were called because of the timeout. Later, Daniel Alexander knocked down a three-pointer that tied the game for Texas A&M at 58-58 with 2:13 remaining. On the Aggies' next trip down the court, Loubeau worked on Quincy Acy in the lane and scored on a right-handed hook shot to make it 60-58. But Jackson buried a straightaway three-pointer at the other end to make it 61-60 and there was some confusion on Texas A&M's next possession. The Aggies inbounded the ball to Elston Turner in the right corner and he spun around for a hasty three-pointer despite 9.3 seconds showing on the clock. He missed off the back of the rim and Jackson knocked down a pair of free throws at the other end for the final score. Gary Franklin's three-pointer in the final minute gave Baylor a 36-25 lead at the break. It was the largest lead of the first half. Game Notes Both teams shot around 39 percent...Texas A&M holds a 127-78 advantage in the all-time series, which dates back to the 1914-15 season, but Baylor has won five straight meetings including a 61-52 victory on January 2.
